History

50 Years of Growth to Serve Your Needs

Back in the 1950s, Leon Robin hired Philip Kramer to work for his accounting firm. The work relationship eventually grew into a close friendship and a successful partnership.

The two officially set up their own practice, Robin Kramer & Company, in 1968, transporting it to Bala Cynwyd, PA. Over time it grew, and a new location was sought in nearby Southampton.

Armed with dual degrees in accounting and law, Philip's son David Kramer joined the firm in 1988 to direct its Tax Services Department. His arrival also resulted in RKG's becoming a pioneer in offering multidisciplinary services, among them litigation support to law firms and other CPA firms.

In 1994, Robin Kramer & Green, LLP was formed by merging with Steven Green, who became the firm's managing partner. Mr. Green's expertise is in audits for not-for-profit and for-profit entities. He is also RKG's quality control partner. Soon after, Murray Greenberg was brought in to develop and lead the firm's Technology Department, as well as to oversee audits, prepare business valuations, and provide litigation support services.

In 1998, the move was made to even larger headquarters in Fort Washington, where along with offices in Broomall and Conshohocken, Robin Kramer & Green is located today.
